What You Need To Know About NYSC Orientation Camp

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the Winding-Up and Passing Out Program for the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members. The Director General of NYSC has stated that the ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023, and will be held in a low-key manner.

Event Schedule

Thursday 8th – Tuesday, 13th June, 2023:

  • Discharging of Passing Out Corps Members by Employers’ Discharge.
  • Job awareness and creation initiative to inform Corps members about job opportunities, conducted at the local government level by NYSC and NDE officers.

Wednesday 14th – Friday 16th, June, 2023:

  • Registration/Clearing of Corps members by Local Government Inspectors.
  • Signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
  • Administration of Questionnaire (Form 4B) to 30% of the passing-out corps members.
RECOMMENDED:  NYSC Online Registration Portal for 2024 Batch A, B or C

Monday 19th – Tuesday 20th June, 2023:

  • Signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
  • Administration of Questionnaire (Form 4B) to 30% of the passing-out corps members.

Wednesday, 21st June, 2023:

  • Signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.

Thursday, 22nd June, 2023:

  • Distribution of Certificates of National Service to deserving Corps members at the Local Government level.

The NYSC management has informed that officers from the Planning, Research, and Statistics Department will be present to oversee the program.

Please take note of the following important information:

  • The online registration portal will be open from June 16 to June 19, 2023. After the registration deadline, the NYSC portal will be closed.
  • Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) are advised to prepare themselves for the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 orientation course.
  • Kindly be aware that the registration portal may not be extended beyond the given dates.
