What’s the Grant Amount?

The PCGS aims to disburse a grant of N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) per eligible beneficiary. This ambitious program is designed to reach one million nano businesses across the 774 local government areas in Nigeria. By focusing on nano businesses, the scheme is poised to make a significant impact at the grassroots level.


Who is Eligible for the PCGS Grant?

With a clear focus on uplifting various demographics within the nation, the PCGS stands out as a program dedicated to fostering an environment where every individual has the opportunity to succeed.

At the heart of the PCGS’s mission is the commitment to women and youth, who constitute 70% of its target demographic. This initiative is built on the understanding that these groups are pivotal to the national economy’s growth and prosperity. Another 10% of the program’s focus is directed towards People with Disabilities. Selection Criteria for PCGS Beneficiaries

The selection criteria for PCGS beneficiaries are clear and aim to foster business growth and employment opportunities. To be eligible, applicants must:

  1. Own a nano business.
  2. Operate a business with progressive economic potential and a desire to grow.
  3. Be willing to engage at least one additional staff member.
  4. Provide proof of residential/business address in the Local Government Area.
  5. Submit relevant personal and bank account information, including National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN), for identity verification.
  6. Meet the application submission deadline, which was on 18th December 2023.
