If you lose or misplace your NYSC certificate, you can apply for a replacement. The NYSC certificate replacement process is straightforward, but it requires some documentation. To apply for a replacement certificate, you need to provide the following documents:

  • A police report confirming the loss of your certificate
  • An affidavit swearing to the loss of your certificate
  • A photocopy of your certificate (if available)
  • Two recent passport photographs
  • A payment of a replacement fee (the fee varies by state)

Once you have all the required documents, you can submit your application for a replacement certificate at the NYSC secretariat in your state. The processing time for replacement certificates varies, but it usually takes a few weeks.

However, due to circumstances such as loss, theft, or damage of the original certificate, some graduates may require a replacement. In this blog post, we’ll discuss the process for obtaining a replacement NYSC certificate.

Firstly, it is important to note that the process for obtaining a replacement certificate can only be initiated by the affected graduate. The process cannot be initiated by a third party, except in cases where the graduate is deceased, in which case the next-of-kin can apply on their behalf.
