  • The first scenario is that you have not verified your admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal. This means that you have not accepted or printed your admission letter from JAMB, which is a requirement for being on the matriculation list. To solve this problem, you need to log in to the JAMB portal with your email and password, check your admission status, accept your admission offer, and print your admission letter. You also need to print your JAMB result slip and original JAMB certificate. After doing these steps, you can check the matriculation list again to see if your name has been added.
  • The second scenario is that you have verified your admission status on JAMB portal, but your name is still not on the matriculation list. This could be due to a delay or error in the uploading of your details by your institution to JAMB. To solve this problem, you need to contact your institution’s admission office or student affairs unit and request them to upload your details to JAMB. You may need to provide them with copies of your admission letter, JAMB result slip, and original JAMB certificate. You should also follow up with them until they confirm that they have done so. After that, you can check the matriculation list again to see if your name has been added.
  • The third scenario is that you have verified your admission status on JAMB portal and contacted your institution, but your name is still not on the matriculation list. This could be due to a mismatch or discrepancy in your personal information or course of study between JAMB and your institution. To solve this problem, you need to apply for a correction of data on JAMB portal. You can do this by logging in to the JAMB portal with your email and password, clicking on “Registration”, then “2021 UTME Data Correction”. You will be required to pay a fee of N2,500 for this service. You can then proceed to correct any errors or inconsistencies in your name, date of birth, gender, state of origin, local government area, or course of study. After making the corrections, you can check the matriculation list again to see if your name has been added.
