The Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has announced the cut-off marks for the 2023/2024 academic session.

These cut-off marks determine the minimum scores required for admission into UNIZIK. Read on to find out more about the JAMB fixed cut-off mark and departmental cut-off marks for all courses.

Official UNIZIK JAMB Cut Off Mark 2023

The official JAMB cut-off mark for UNIZIK is 180. This means that candidates who selected UNIZIK as their first choice and scored a minimum of 180 in the UTME examination are eligible to apply for admission into any course of their choice.

UNIZIK Departmental Cut Off Marks 2023

The University Admissions Committee has set an aggregate UTME score of 180 as the cut-off mark for all departments in the 2021 admission exercise. However, some departments may require a higher UTME score.

Here are a few examples:

  • Medicine: 220 and above
  • Mass Communication, Common Law, Pharmacy, Anatomy, Physiology: 200 and above
  • Computer Science, English Language, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geology, all engineering courses except Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering: 190 and above
  • All other courses: 180 and above

UNIZIK Post UTME and Screening Requirements

UNIZIK conducts its Post UTME and admission screening exercises within a week or a couple of weeks, usually in two phases.

Candidates who wish to study at UNIZIK should complete the Post UTME screening exercise registration once it is announced.
