How to Calculate UNIJOS Aggregate Score

Step 1: Calculate your O’level Point

Add up the grades you obtained in your O’level subjects. Each grade has a corresponding point value. For example:

• A1 = 6 points
• B2 = 5 points
• B3 = 4 points
• C4 = 3 points
• C5 = 2 points
• C6 = 1 point

If you have 3 A’s and 2 B’s in your O’level result, your O’level point will be:

(3 x 6) + (2 x 5) = 18 + 10 = 28 points

Step 2: Calculate your JAMB Point

Divide your JAMB score by the total mark (usually 400) and then multiply it by 60. This will give you your JAMB point.

For example, if you scored 240 in JAMB:

240/400 * 60 = 36 points

Step 3: Calculate your Aggregate Score

Add up your O’level point and JAMB point to get your final aggregate score:

Aggregate Score = O’level Point + JAMB Point
Aggregate Score = 28 + 36 = 64 points

That’s your final aggregate score, which will be used for admission consideration.

Keep in mind that the cut-off marks for various courses at UNIJOS might differ, and they are usually expressed as percentages.
