In this article, I want to provide more information about the cut-off mark for the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) for the 2023/2024 academic year.

If you’ve been searching for the JAMB cut-off mark or departmental cut-off marks for TASUED, you’ve come to the right place.

The university has announced the cut-off mark for this admission cycle, and I’ll share the details here.

Firstly, it’s important to note that TASUED does not accept candidates who chose the university as their second choice.

This information is for those who selected TASUED as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and for those who are considering applying for a change of institution.

TASUED Cut Off Mark 2023

The general cut-off mark for TASUED set by the university for the 2023/2024 academic session is 150.

This means that to be eligible to register for the Tai Solarin University of Education POST UTME, a student must have scored at least 150 in the recently concluded JAMB examination.

However, due to high competition, it is advisable to aim for a score higher than the required cut-off mark to increase your chances of admission.

These cut-off marks are determined by the performance of students in the POST UTME examination or screening. However, not all departments release cut-off marks after the conclusion of the screening process.

Note: This article will be updated once the management of TASUED releases the departmental cut-off marks for the 2023/2024 admission process. So, stay tuned for the latest information.

How to Calculate TASUED Cut Off Mark

To calculate your TASUED aggregate or screening score, follow these simple steps:

1. Divide your JAMB score by 8.
2. Divide your Post UTME score by 2.
3. Add the results of both calculations together.

For example, if you scored 300 in JAMB and 80 in the Post UTME:

300/8 = 37.5
80/2 = 40
Therefore, 37.5 + 40 = 77.5

Note: Some institutions consider only the Post UTME result for admission, while others use a combination of the O’Level and JAMB results to determine the screening score.
