How to Calculate FUNAAB Cut Off Mark

To calculate your FUNAAB Cut Off Mark, follow these steps:

1. Calculate O’Level Composite Percentage:

• Add up the points for your five core subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) based on your grades (A1 = 6 points, B2 = 5 points, B3 = 4 points, C4 = 3 points, C5 = 2 points, C6 = 1 point).
• The maximum total O’Level points you can get is 30.
• Now, multiply the total O’Level points by 2/3 to get the O’Level Composite Percentage.

2. Calculate UTME/DE Composite Percentage:

• For UTME candidates: Divide your Total UTME Score by 8.
• For Direct Entry (DE) candidates: Divide the Total Obtainable Grade Points (GP) or Points by your CGPA or Points obtained, then multiply the result by 0.3.

3. Calculate Post-UTME Composite Percentage:

• Multiply your Post-UTME score by 0.3.

4. Calculate the COMPOSITE:

• Add up all three composite percentages obtained from steps 1, 2, and 3.

The final result is your Composite Score, which FUNAAB uses to determine your eligibility for admission.

Keep in mind that where Agriculture is accepted for a pass in Biology, the grade of Agriculture does not reflect on the O’Level points.

If you presented two O’Level results, the calculation is based on the better grade for each of the core subjects, but 1 point is deducted from the total score obtained.
